HENDERSONVILLE Neither rain, wind nor anybody else in the field could stop Hendersonville’s boys golf team from winning its 12th consecutive District 9-AAA Tournament.
The Commandos added another plaque to the trophy case on Monday afternoon, defeating Mt. Juliet by two strokes at Country Hills Golf Course.
Junior Bryce Lewis led the Commandos by shooting 71, then claimed medalist honors by defeating Mt. Juliet’s Cooper Sears on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff.
