HENDERSONVILLE A pair of school scoring records fell on Tuesday afternoon as Hendersonville junior Bryce Lewis and Beech junior Michael Barnard each broke their respective program’s standard at Country Hills Golf Course.
Lewis shot a 9-under-par 63 to lead the Commandos to a 23-stroke victory over Beech, while Barnard’s 6-under-par 66 set a new scoring record for the Buccaneers.
Lewis and Barnard are both committed to play golf at Middle Tennessee State University.
Portland finished third with a team total of 403, led by Lucas Harper’s score of 80.
Kristen Miller shot 84 to help the Lady Buccaneers win the match, defeating Hendersonville by 18 strokes, with Portland finishing 12 behind the Lady Commandos in third place.

Jonathan Caldwell led the Hawks with a low round of 41, while Austin Poll paced the Blue Devils with a 45.
