Tee times and pairings have been set for the 92nd annual Tennessean/Metro Parks Schooldays Golf Tournament, which will be played June 7-9 at McCabe Golf Course.
Cooper Sears, 17, will return to defend the 2015 boys title, while Hannah Powell, 17, will be back to defend the girls. Sears is a rising senior from Mt. Juliet who has committed to Vanderbilt, and Powell is a rising senior from Warren County.
Ashley Gilliam, whom Powell defeated in the match play semifinals in 2015, is also back along with 2015 semifinalist Angelina Chan.
Boys quarterfinalists from 2015, Bryce Lewis and Michael Barnard, are also in the field again.
After the first round of stroke play, the low 16 boys and eight girls advance to match play for the final two days of the tournament, which is for ages 12-17 and is the longest continuous running tournament in the state.
