Former Brentwood Academy basketball standout Victoria Dunlap was named the girls basketball coach at Shroder High in Cincinnati on Monday.

Dunlap was a two-time finalist for Division II Miss Basketball and was the most valuable player of the 2006 state tournament. She went on to play at Kentucky and was the 11th overall pick in the 2011 WNBA draft by the Washington Mystics.

She also was a track standout.

Dunlap’s father, King IV, played football at Tennessee State and in the NFL and her mother, Robin, ran track at TSU.

Her brother, also named King, played at Auburn and is headed into his eighth season in the NFL as an offensive lineman for the San Diego Chargers.

Victoria Dunlap served as an assistant coach at Brentwood Academy from 2012-14.
