The Tennessee Titans and Tennessee Football Coaches Association will host their second annual High School Football Recruiting Fair on Tuesday at Nissan Stadium
The Titans and Tennessee Football Coaches Association will host the second annual High School Football Recruiting Fair on Tuesday at Nissan Stadium.
The event, designed to provide exposure for prospective collegiate football players in the Midstate area, will be held in the Nissan Stadium West Club starting at 8 a.m.
“You’ve got high school coaches that are going into spring practice right now and of course they want to do everything they can to promote their kids, and it’s almost like they’re splitting their time,” Mt. Juliet coach Trey Perry said.
“To have that one day where you’re in front of 50 (colleges) and you’re getting a chance to showcase your kids and your program is huge,” Perry added. “And on the other end, you’ve got college coaches who are able (to) pack a week’s worth of athletes into three or four hours. It’s a no-brainer for them.”
More than 90 high schools from across Tennessee are currently scheduled to attend along with representatives from more than 40 NCAA and NAIA programs.
All high school coaches, who must be member of the TFCA, are encouraged to bring film, bios, transcripts and test scores for each of their athletes.
