Weeks said he was “made aware” of the coaching resignation Thursday “very late afternoon.”
The CWHS girls head basketball coaching job was posted online Friday for hire at www.dicksoncountyschools.org.
Schools officials reportedly escorted Mullinicks from the basketball court before a regional quarterfinal basketball game Feb. 26, after receiving a “complaint” about the coach.
Dickson County Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking into the complaint received from the school system on Feb. 26.
DCSO Lt. Andy Davis told The Herald the investigation is “ongoing” and in the “very preliminary stages.” He declined to comment until the investigation was completed.
