HENDERSONVILLE For the sixth consecutive season, the Hendersonville High girls soccer team will play for the Region 5-AAA Tournament championship.
The Lady Commandos defeated visiting Rossview 3-1 in Tuesday evening’s semifinals at Drakes Creek Park’s Field of Dreams, earning a spot in one of eight Class AAA sectional matches on Saturday in the process.
Junior Brooke Long scored two goals, with classmate Haley Stevens netting the other one for Hendersonville (16-2-2).
Mel Stevens had the lone Rossview goal early in the second half to tie the match.
The Lady Commandos travel to Clarksville on Wednesday evening for the championship match and will face either Franklin or Brentwood in Saturday’s sectional round.
White House 6, Hume-Fogg 0
WHITE HOUSE White House defeated visiting Hume-Fogg 6-0 on Tuesday evening in the Region 5 A-AA Tournament semifinals to advance to Thursday’s championship match against White House Heritage.
Juniors Madisson Davis and Madeline Hargrove each scored twice, while classmates Mallory Humphries and MacKenzie Vaughn also tallied for the Lady Devils (16-5).
White House will face either Christ Presbyterian Academy or Page in one of eight Class A-AA sectional matches on Saturday.
White House reached the regional final for the fifth consecutive season with the victory.

Clarksville 1, Station Camp 0
CLARKSVILLE Gybson Roth’s goal in the 24th minute was all Clarksville High needed to end Station Camp’s run with a 1-0 victory in the Region 5-AAA soccer tournament semifinal Tuesday night at Hilda J. Richardson Field.
Defense dominated much of the game and Station Camp’s physicality was on display as it help possession on its side of the field for much of the second half, but Clarksville’s defense held its own as the Lady Wildcats earn its fifth straight trip to the region championship game Wednesday against Hendersonville.
The Lady Bison (18-4) lose three seniors to graduation – Megan Brinkley, Victoria Brown and Lauren Smith.
Chattanooga Christian 4, Merrol Hyde Magnet 0
CHATTANOOGA Merrol Hyde Magnet’s girls soccer team saw its season end with a 4-0 loss at Chattanooga Christian in Tuesday’s Region 4 A-AA Tournament semifinals.
The Lady Chargers scored three goals in the final 10 minutes to pull away after leading 1-0 at halftime.
The Lady Hawks lose six seniors to graduation – Emilie Boone, Paige Clinard, Abbott Gailmard, Addison Oaks, Valerie Rewa and Lauren Williamson.
